@AltertivelyBrownish same feelings. I know what you mean
@notguilty what changed for you?
@AltertivelyBrownish I got more confident. I realized that try to look as heterosexual was kind of homophobic, so I decided to express myself more freely
@notguilty that’s awesome. I wish my method was similar. For me I was coerced by a friend to model nude for one of his art projects and seeing myself fully naked kind of was eye-opening. I thought I actually looked really hot. He put it up on his site (with my permission) and seeing the comments gave me a massive confidence boost that I think I’ve always had since.
@AltertivelyBrownish wow, beautiful story. I can’t believe someone so beautiful felt lack of confidence. What a society we are creating that makes people feel like that!!!
Something I like about the fediverse is that it’s all about sharing, supporting, and kindness
@AltertivelyBrownish I remember that when I started to go to nudist beaches, I thought that all bodies were beautiful. I discovered that naked bodies were more beautiful than with clothes. And I’m not about that kind of beaches were you only see gym guys so proud of themselves. I’m talking about natural places for diversity and no judgement, safe places.
I actually felt more confident being naked in those beaches than wearing speedos in a swimming pool. It took me years to wear speedos hehe
@AltertivelyBrownish You look hot! Glad to hear you feel more confident too
