@BrianJopek Friends (sort of) we know are completely opposed to “government handouts” and Obamacare- Trump voters. Disabled adult daughter is on Medicaid with a scheduled kidney transplant in a month. Won’t they be surprised her new lifelong care with anti-rejection drugs may be in jeopardy soon.

"Hacked" is overused.
However, the writer presents an interesting premise that seems plausible, and the pieces seem to fall into place.

My description doesn't do justice to the piece, which does differentiate between the realms of possibility and probability; here's a sample:

@BrianJopek There will be such anecdotes but color me skeptical it amounts to much. They aren’t policy voters no matter what you call the policy. They voted for rage & entertainment at the expense of the people they fear & other.
The "I didn't know the ACA is Obamacare" line is crap.
They have been told for over 8 years now that they are the same thing; they couldn't be bothered to listen as it didn't suit them. All they heard was "Obama" and their bigotry kicked in.

Days ago an elderly man, who proudly voted for the neo-fascist party, broke out in tears.
The (now) far-right dominated city council took his only opportunity to get gereatric health treatment (#gerda) in any reasonable distance from home.
Fortunately a leftist health collective now steps in with medical trained volunteers to compensate, but guess what: This stupid guy still roots for a fascist regime, and still hates the political left.

@BrianJopek I very often think about the fact A LOT of local radiostations (especially in the midwest) got bought by big mediacompanies already decades ago. At least in those areas and (yes they exist) in areas where there is limited access to the internet it's only the matter of available news sources. Dangerous when those sources only provide propaganda.

This is what happens when people chose not to do any research for themselves.
We had it for 14years in the UK, voting for the Party that did shaft them, the Brexit Tories, because voters could not be bothered to check out what was going on under their noses for themselves.
