Auschwitz Memorial

20 March 1943 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Bernhard Sanders, was born in Schalkwijk.

He arrived at on 27 January 1944 in a transport of 948 Jews deported from Westerbork with his mother Johanna and father Willem. All three were probably murdered in a gas chamber.

@auschwitzmuseum I will keep boosting pictures of people who were murdered by the Nazis. I will always strongly condemn any totalitarian authoritarian regime like the Third Reich. But there are a number of present day regimes acting similarly. Russia, Trump's USA and Israel to name a few.

How is it possible that many automatically (exactly every 3 hours) spammed "victims" of the holocaust (pre-camp photos in particular) are NOT FOUND in the victims database maintained by IDF soldiers who colonized former concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau?

The base material of lists of names are partially preserved files created by the SS camp administration. Most of the files created by the Germans were destroyed by them, therefore, unfortunately a complete list of KL Auschwitz does not exist. There is also a possibility that the preserved documents may have inaccuracies and errors. The information about the person you were looking for might be found with the help of archivists from the Analyses and Archival Information Office.
