A five-panel comic from Li Chen at exocomics.com
panel 1: Horse and dog are sitting on a hill. Horse has his arm around Dog and says, "Dog, you're the only one I trust."
panel 2: The frame widens to show that their human companion is also sitting nearby eating a sandwich. She says, "What about yourself?" Horse turns to her. "huh?"
panel 3: The human continues, mouth full of food, "If you don't trust yourself then how can you trust your decision to trust Dog?"
panel 4: Horse is speechless. A look of shock on its face.
panel 5: Horse is visibly upset with dog, who's tongue-out-expression has remained the same in every panel: "DOG HOW COULD YOU NOT WARN ME ABOUT THIS I TRUSTED YOU!!!"
@exocomics alt: a four-panel comic:
1: horse sits next to dog on the grass. Horse says 'Dog, you're the only one I trust.'
2: girl, eating a sandwich, is sitting next to horse and dog. she says 'what about yourself?'. horse replies, 'huh?'
3: split panel. Girl confidently says 'if you don't trust yourself then how can you trust your decision to trust Dog?' horse, in the next half-panel, with a grey background, looks shocked.
4: Horse, with angry eyebrows and an accusing expression, says to dog: 'DOG HOW COULD YOU NOT WARN ME ABOUT THIS I TRUSTED YOU!!!'

Hi, I just finished reading detective beans here back in France. It took a while to get a copy. But it was an amazing read. Lots of laughs. Thank you very much.
