"How do you deal with code snippets in blog posts getting outdated?"
Every time I give a talk about blogging for developers, I'm asked this. Now I started to take action with the first iteration of the solution.
I added version metadata to my blog posts and display them at the start of the post.

@hamatti This is good idea - in times when there are posts that do not have date.
@hamatti I had an idea and tryed that too, that my www-page read info straight from package.json etc. Not impossible for blog posts too.
Now I go back to read you post :)
@hamatti Uh I just wrote blog post what methods and apps I use for storing information. I mentioned Notions database too.
I have my own js-based markdown writer which I developed with Claude. Works well but there is a catch that blog posts are not in database for "easy access" for another platforms.
Well. I am wannebe-blog-developer so next I implement graphql based thing that gets posts from differend Api's and can send them allso to dev.to or similar places. Here too.
