Battle against nandinas continues.
Could someone PLEASE give me a gold star?
@jblue Good job, soldier o7
@jblue what is nardinas?
@BrambleBearGrrrauwling nandinas are an invasive species of bamboo. They are often used in landscaping but they really need to be banned. They form colonies and spread, both by roots and by the berries which are transported by animals. The berries are poisonous, especially negatively affecting bird populations.
I’ve been at these nandinas for years, trying to get up all the roots in the ground. They shoot up new growth every year. Hope this is the last I ever see of them.
@jblue urgh. Goid luck with it!
