@michaellaborn Oh that looks fantastic. There's another book I read recently about New Orleans magic from a BIPOC author, also featuring a quest to save save New Orleans magic... Ah, found it! The Ballad of Perilous Graves by Alex Jennings. That was so good. It was such an ode to the real magic of New Orleans as much as it was an immensely creative work of imagination, and it was so so good, and I can't wait to read more from this author.
