Today marks 51 years since Sarah Jane Smith, played by the wonderful Elisabeth Sladen, made her debut in The Time Warrior on the 15th December, 1973. The story also introduced the Sontarans, the slit-scan titles sequence and the iconic Doctor Who diamond logo!
