Also, while I am going to watch Gaslight District, I am glad we also got stuff like I Dont Want To Be A Magical Girl and this. I dont want all of Indie Animation to be gritty, bloody, brutal violence. I do hope there is room for that, and softer, chill stuff like Lumi too.

Also, has anyone heard from that elemental dinosaur project in a while?

#LumiAndTheGreatBigGalaxy (PILOT ANIMATIC)

While deities discuss a looming threat, a festival is going on for a world of aliens. But a shooting star causes a mess at the fest'. But, a new friend is made in the commotion.

A pilot meant for pitching to TV. This one is sci-fantasy focused on younger chars. Great animatic work, w/ some completed scenes. Great voice work. And interesting story.

CW: blood (i guess?)

WcDonald's: Wisdom of the Sauce (Ilya Kuvshinov / Pierrot) | Catsuka

3 girls are transported to another world by the power of fast food. They are made magical to pursue a quest to find the secret of the sauce.

So, upfront, this is a macdonalds commercial. But it is animated by Studio Pierrot. Quite beautiful and well done. And if you can watch with your media literacy on, it might be pretty cool.
