How I started today - view from the campsite.
Still so much to fight for.
Hi everyone. I posted about this a couple of days ago but I'm posting again.
I am in desperate need of a new phone and computer, but because of the worsening political situation worldwide the computer/laptop takes presidence.
I basically need to be able to emergency buy a decent laptop with good specs and good hardware that I can use to connect with people and also be able to download files that have been deleted from the CDC and other archives, at least whatever I can.
If everyone that shares and sees this can make even a small donation of 6nzd or more I can achieve this.
I need around 1.5-1.8kNZD to achieve this.
Please consider helping me, so I can help my community and more
I appreciate you.
Please boost. Please share on other social media platforms, thank you for reading

There is a war against truth and trees This Kahikatea is one of the tallest trees in the Waitakeres. They can grow to 65 metres (213 ft). I miss it and hope it has survived the drying winds and ever warming climate. The Kahikatea need moist conditions around their buttress roots to survive. It is a sentinal towering over a hidden valley of ancient Rata and other above-canopy forest trees. #AotearoaNZ #NewZealand #trees

This video is a how-to-play for "Wairepo Wetland Stories - ep2," a minimalist card puzzle game where you restore a wetland. Watch out for weeds, floods, drought and a neighbour dumping rubbish in the swamp. Then enjoy the birdsong.

Driving through the mountains this evening to Whakatū #Nelson for a weekend of house hunting. It's where we first fell in love with #AotearoaNZ more than a decade ago so there's a pleasing sense of symmetry to working towards the shift.
For anyone who's never heard of it, Nelson is a quirky touristy spot at the top of North Island. The area is famous for fruit, wine and hop growing and has a magnificent crop of small breweries competing to produce some of the finest IPAs known to man.
Further research is needed.
NZ government shows it has no understanding of public good science, slashing humanities from Marsden Fund eligibility. Far out. This focus on funding only R & D which may result in profit should worry everyone.
But I thought Kluxon and Nicky No Boats said #AotearoaNZ had too much debt and we were in the shitter!? #NzGovernment #RNZ #NzPol
“It said government spending, as a proportion of the economy, was already low, and government debt was low by international standards and of no real concern to ratings agencies.” https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/534365/govt-s-fiscal-policy-dragging-out-recession-economists-say
Happy Hobbit Day (Sept. 22)! One of the best ever trips I’ve taken was a 24-day trip to beautiful New Zealand in 2019. Here’s my Visual Trip Journal from the day we visited Hobbiton!
Hi #aotearoa #newzealand folks.
As someone from the other end of the world, who wants to stay somewhat up to date with #nzpolitics, are there any podcasts you can recommend? So far I've mostly heard the daily one from the nz herald. I know they're a more conservative newspaper, but it seemed ok enough to get an overview about some of the current daily issues in politics.
But I'm curious what other, better, sources people would recommend.
I would prefer something longer and weekly, covering multiple topics, rather than daily, but tbh, as long as it's not outputting multiple episodes a day, anything will do.

A bit late for #Caturday in #AotearoaNZ but we’ve been busy taking afternoon naps in the winter sunshine.
