Interesting. I added Gunther Schuller’s ‘Concerto da Camera’ to a playlist in the Apple Classical app. Later I reopened the app and attempted to reorder the playlist and I got this error message.

I’m guessing that Apple has split their music catalog into “Classical” and “Non-Classical” sections. I don’t want to complain too much because I listen to the app all the time and generally like it.

Apologize in advance if a little off-topic.

Here’s another example of what an improvement #AppleClassical is when you’re trying to find a specific movement of a multi-movement piece:

It might be easy to guess which track is the third movement of a symphony, but what if you forget exactly where Tortoises comes in The Carnival of the Animals?

Apple Music: IDK, who cares?

Apple Classical: I’ve got you!!

Why we so desperately needed a classical music focused app, example two.

Here’s a comparison of what you see in Apple Music vs. Apple Classical if you’re listening to a movement of the a multi-movement piece. In Apple Music, it shows you the full title of the piece before the movement information, and you have to wait a long time for it to start to scroll. In Apple Classical, the movement information is instantly visible. #AppleClassical #ClassicalMusic
