During the <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/BoxerRebellion" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BoxerRebellion</span></a> of 1900, along with other Dutch <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/warships" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>warships</span></a>, she safeguarded Dutch and European interests in Shanghai.
