The cast is great. The story is great. Kassius Nelson as Crystal Palace was particularly awesome in S1E6.

Feeling annoyed by Netflix practice of making good shows and cancelling them after one season. It's so often the weird genre stuff I like. Just watched Dead Boy Detectives followed by Lockwood and Co and enjoyed both a lot, was looking forward to where they would go next. I should really know better. Still mad about Crazy Head and so many others.

At least these two have source material I can now go and read instead.

Nous venons de finir Kaos sur Netflix, par la créatrice de « The End of the F***ing World »

Jeff Goldblum (71 ans, mais qui ne les fait pas) joue Zeus, et il y plein d’autres personnages de la mythologie grecque, dieux, déesses, mortel.le.s vivant.e.s ou mort.e.s dans un contexte moderne.
C’est intelligent, drôle, violent, bien joué et bien mis en image. C’est potentiellement la meilleure production Netflix de l’année avec Baby Reindeer… et c’est surtout annulé par Netflix quasi immédiatement après sa sortie, laissant l’histoire sur un cliffhanger des Dieux.

Je crois qu’il va falloir que Netflix arrête de produire des séries, et devrait se concentrer sur les one-shot et mini-séries, car ils font un travail de sagouin !

En tout cas, en ce qui nous concerne, et après l’annulation du plaisant Dead Boy Detectives, nous avons décidé que c’était là le coup de grâce, et que nous nous apprêtons à interrompre notre abonnement (en attendant peut-être le retour de Mercredi).
