I’d read some comments that Screen Space Reflections and Motion Blur were broken on the console versions of the #ElderScrolls #OblivionRemastered. That does seem to be the case.

They look awful on both Xbox Series X and PS5 Pro.

Framerates are also pretty wonky, as noted by #DigitalFoundry. Even on a VRR OLED, the UE5 stutter can be pretty distracting.

That said, I am still enjoying the game. Haven’t done shit for the MQ, just dungeon crawling outside the city.

👉 i usually maintain a "sacrificial primer audio tab" in Firefox - which i always mute in the volume controls
👉 i like to "put on" a long duration, talk-show type, YouTube video, like #DigitalFoundry, or #GamersNexus, the-like, in the background.
👉 i enjoy browsing other things, without being interrupted by current-tab audio

Started watching a a YouTube video that was claiming Digital Foundry was pro Xbox and anti PlayStation. 🤣 Turned off when I realized no actually discussion of specs were coming. The video is over an hour ! DF has said on many side by side comparisons PS5 versions ran better than Series X. John L has a track record of being a Sony fanboy too. People confuse me to know end …

#DigitalFoundry feels like it is getting worse and they think that covering games they know next to nothing about is worthwhile.

It's ok not to know but bluffing knowledge is just sad, admit you've never played a game or only very briefly.

The folks behind The Rest is Politics/Football need to do a gaming podcast with opposing views on games as it's good to like different games.
