I have seen a five-pound house rabbit chase down, pin to the ground, and "have her way" with the 12-pound cat in the way that rabbits do when establishing dominance. The cat looked horrified, like it was thinking "OMG, this thing looked so easy..."

Just because something's cute doesn't mean it isn't gonna kick your ass.

I really liked this tactile exhibit at Mammoth Cave National Park. It shows cave life to scale with a penny, and the models are really well done in 3D. The penny was sized to make the critter model display well, so even the tiny amphipod is tactically interesting even though the penny is mega-oversized (pennies are also in 3D for tactile pleasure).

I bought this 23-inch Apple Cinema Display on eBay, and I'm not very happy with it. It looks gorgeous, no doubt, but I can't use 60 Hz after getting used to a 144 Hz gaming monitor. Mouse movement feels odd.

Besides, my LG 27GL63T-B 27" operates at 144 Hz and uses only 27 watts at full brightness. I measured by tester.

However, the Apple Cinema uses 70 watts at full brightness.
The LG is about 10-15% brighter than the Apple Cinema.
