Updating our intranet that is #Dokuwiki , PHP and some Python uWSGI tools from an old CentOS 7 box to a new Rocky 9 system. Making it a VM on a spare mini PC running #Proxmox to learn a bit more about that in the process.
It’s fun! Basically, every single piece of the stack is updated, skipping years of versions. But not that many headaches. Mostly SELinux is the enemy of the many exec()s in my ancient PHP scripts 😀

I'm wondering if anyone knows of an existing technical solution for this:

I would like to run something like a #DokuWiki internally to collect and manage #information for employees.
On top of that, I'd love to have a #search system where users can ask questions in natural language, and the system would either:
+ understand the question and answer it based on the knowledge stored in the #wiki, or
+ point users directly to the relevant section or page within the wiki.

Does anything like this already exist?
#Recommendations are very welcome!

lol 😆

I've always enjoyed working with DokuWiki -- flat file storage, almost zero configuration, no BS. Still good stuff.

cathode ray dude's blog · making dokuwiki usefulmaking dokuwiki useful well okay, that's not fair: the real title should be like “making dokuwiki pretend it's a blog despite that being an unreasonable request.” problems as noted in my previous post (making a website is hard) there are no longer any tolerable software packages for creating

#dailyreport #nginx #wiki #dokuwiki #proxy
In one day I installed DokuWiki with authorization at
Nginx Web server.

I created reverse proxy and forward rules in Nginx, to be
able to use one IP for "/wiki" and sites.

In my exp., Jupyter, for example, easier to configure with
forwarding, Nginix sites easier configure with reverse
proxy. Today AI fills very big hole of knowledge lack,
but only stupid think that anybody can do IT job.

In our company we have week communication and high
demand for knowledge sharing, so I made decision to make
it wihtout direct order. I always work at my best for
the company.

I use #dokuwiki for recipes.

  • open source
  • no database required
  • everything is stored in text files
  • fast search
  • reasonable user permissions
  • themes

My typical recipe layout is:

title - name

comments/intro

ingredients - unordered list

method - ordered list

suggestions, substitutions, keywords, etc.

Comes out looking nice, easy to type, easy to cut-and-paste from a website.

I have hierarchical organization, e.g. main_dish is then organized by main protein: beef, lamb, poultry, sausage, tofu, other vegetarian/vegan.

Accessible from phones and tablets as well as computers.

ArgumentCountError: imagerotate() expects exactly 3 arguments, 4 given

Vyřešil do downgrade z PHP 8.3 na 8.2.

Last weekend the Open Film Database (ofdb.cc) received another update, which included the migration from #WordPress (Blog) and #DokuWiki (Wiki) to #Drupal, front-end improvements for TV shows, improved cast editing, and more!

The #OFDb is a database for movies and TV shows with its data published under an open license (Open Database License). Everyone can participate and add more titles. The more the merrier!
