Feds Halt the National #ElectricVehicle Charging Program
The US government has ordered states to retract their plans to build hundreds of federally funded #EVcharging stations, according to a memo obtained by WIRED.
The #NEVI program, established by 2021’s Infrastructure Law, attempted to build chargers along thousands of miles of federal highway, with a focus on places that might not otherwise be able to financially support a charger.

Trying to plan a trip up to the White Mountains in late spring and ugh the EV charging situation up there is just awful.
There's 1 good CCS charger at some car dealer. 1 bad CCS at some other car dealer. Some L2 chargers in strip malls. A few hotels with L2 chargers that are primarily for guests.

Or 2 El*n stations that will only work with my I5 if Hyundai actually gets around to shipping adapters and if I'm ok with giving money to a N*z*.
