Lydia update: while many people suggested I lock my bedroom door last night, no one seemed to realize that my bedroom door was visible behind her in the photo I posted, clearly showing the fact that there's a permanent cat door installed in it. But she slept peacefully on my bed with me last night, and just now she got in my lap and demanded that I close my shirt around her for snuggles. :blobcatgooglyshrug:
