Maria Langer | 📝 🎬 ⚒️🛥️<p>The balsamroot in my side (north) yard just after dawn. Balsamroot are perennials so they come back every year. This particular patch has been spreading. I think they're blooming early this year. I seem to recall them being in bloom on Mother's Day. Dead calm now, but the wind will pick up later. I need to stow the dinghy, secure loose items, and get under way. I'm doing 43 miles today to an anchorage at Cobb Island, which should be sufficiently sheltered from winds out of the south.
