“Betrayal” is a construct of “loyalty”

I’m not sure even the most Friedman-esque acolyte believes that the corporate maximizing profits has any sense of loyalty to workers, and if they do, that workers have any sense of loyalty to the enterprise.

Not having nor adhering to any or believing “loyalty” exists in the labor market wouldn’t surprise me, though.

The blueprint out of misery was given to us, the first-principles laid out, it was always up to each generation to do the work.

The way you know a core value is core is that by adhering to it, it costs you something.

There is pain, friction, and noise in maintaining first-principles.

We do these things because they are hard.

Legendary investor Vinod Khosla shares powerful insights into startup success, the future of AI, and why first principles thinking is every founder’s secret weapon. Tune in for a candid, high-impact conversation that blends venture capital wisdom with bold tech vision.

“Most important, human equality precedes human differences.

“We can identify differences among us only because we are all human, and in that regard equal.

“As humans we share a capacity for moral judgment and an innate striving to choose actions that make tomorrow better.

“This is how our drive and capacity for freedom show themselves.”
