Travel #funfacts - my plane back to the UK departed DFW many hours late because of ... bees.

Not bees _in_ the plane, or onboard. Although the screenplay practically writes itself. Rather, bees swarming somewhere around the exterior of the plane, preventing the ground crew from completing pre-flight maintenance.

I do suppose that those beekeeper "smoke kettles" would have created more chaos than they prevented. Still, don't let anybody tell you that modern air travel is boring & routine.
