Harpist Carla Skanger (a pseudonym of #SheilaBromberg of the London Symphony Orchestra) played harp and American actor and singer #ClarkePeters performed backing vocals on the recording.

Black Merda is the self-titled debut album by the Detroit rock band Black Merda. It was released in 1970 by Chess Records.

Originally The Soul Agents, backing up an array of Motown and Brunswick acts and performing as Edwin Starr’s permanent backing band. They played on “Twenty Five Miles.” and “War.”.
