Got a Mail from the #futureFrontend conference (formerly known as react-finland) and as it was quite nice there 2019. I had the idea of a roadtrip with the family thru Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to take a ferry to Helsinki. Presented the idea today in the morning and then my wife told me that we have one little issue - summer holiday in school starts one month later... damn school.

After a busy week with work and organizing conference, I've spent most of today just writing notes because I didn't have time during the week.

I failed at pacing myself this week which caused extra tiredness and lack of self-reflection and journaling that I need to balance today to get mentally in a better space.

Despite being busy, the week was amazing and I had so much fun.

Never-ending summer days where the sun (almost) doesn't set, learning about the new stuff in frontend world and a community of lovely people?

We've got you covered! We organize the second conference in this June and I'm inviting you to join our conference!

That was such a great conference again. Lots of good old friends, lots of new friends made. A ton of new inspiration and ideas and a confirmation that despite recent personal struggles, this is what I love to do.

Once again, the best track is the hallway track. 2nd day in full swing. We started the morning with a session about green computing and soon move into a session about edge computing.

Design tokens and UI components is not yet a design system, it's a library.

Add in the guidelines and documentation on how and why to use them and you're on the next level.

Thaís put it so well into words and I agree so much!

We're having a most wonderful double session about universal design systems by Mohammad Khazali who talked from dev perspective and by Thaís Santos (pictured) speaking from design perspective.
