This weeks stupidity… I made a mini 5u HomeLab for my HomeAssistant and PiHole boxes that sit inside an Ikea storage crate.

Includes a Pi5 16GB, Pi 3b+, Pi Zero W2 and a Pimoroni Badger for stats.

Am I mad? (Rhetorical)

I am pondering building a thing. A detachable desk to go on my office chair for portability (mostly to temporarily work somewhat ergonomically from a room that has aircon)

The latest incarnation of this hare brained scheme is to make use of pull out ikea rails which are attached to the arms of my chair and plop an mdf board on top. Might have to shape the board to lay on the chair arms for extra stability.

Sure, I could buy a small fold-flat camp table to pull my chair up to, but this sounds more fun.

Hier mein ganz bescheidener #Ikea-Hack[1]: Vier niedrige Billys verbinden, Küchenarbeitsplatte draufschrauben und Vitrinentüren versehen; Letztere ferner mit Postkarten eines lokaler Künstlers bestücken[2], die #Hannover zeigen, was aber selbst Ortskundige oft anfangs nicht peilen.

Was meint ihr, das Plastik ist nicht so toll deswegen ist es sehr fransig für den Prototypen reicht es allerdings.

Ich finde es Toll einmal für die Skadis Sachen und man kann Klett Binder durchziehen und hat noch mehr Möglichkeiten.

I've tried getting into tablet weaving a few times but so far I only got as far as finding out that backstrap weaving is not for me.

Pleased with our new Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro stands.

It's the ISKÄRNA from Ikea, but filled with rice in clear bags to add some weight and balance.

Once spring comes around I'm considering spraying them matte black, which will better fit into my office.

Spent a lot of time sealing off these IKEA shelves(?), so that finally the boys can move into their new home!
