Well, now that I've moved accounts, I should do a new intro post. So here ya go ​:happyremi:​

I'm Remilia, I'm a goth lady who loves cats, writes code for a hobby (Common Lisp and Crystal mainly), uses Slackware Linux, and loves industrial music. I'm pretty awkward socially, especially on platforms like this, but more chatty in private, though I absolutely SUCK at starting conversations, even with people I've known for a long time. So it's best if you start the conversation. Maybe it's an AuDHD thing, I dunno. But I do enjoy interacting with people!

I'm also a mom to four cats, married to a lovely wife, am mostly a lesbian, and am polyamorous. Oh, and I'm a transgender woman, I fucking swear a lot, and I can be quite lewd at times, though rarely ever in public.

On the coding side, I mostly work on a command line/TUI player I developed for Linux called Benben. You should check it out, lots of people say it's cool. It's almost entirely written entirely in Common Lisp, and there's an AppImage to make it easy to try. https://chiselapp.com/user/MistressRemilia/repository/benben/ I also have a few other programs and libraries I maintain, just check my homepage for them. When it comes to music, I mostly listen to industrial music, darkwave, and chiptune music from my childhood. But I generally like all kinda of music. Skinny Puppy, Ayria, KMFDM, Front Line Assembly, and Clan of Xymox are all favorites of mine. I also write music (though I'm on a bit of an extended hiatus) under the name Partition 36. https://partition36.bandcamp.com/

Aside from that, I fucking love Godzilla and Gamera movies, as well as horror; I play a lot of shmups (though I'm not that good at them), FPSes, RTSes, and old 16-bit arcade/console games (I'm totally a Sega and PC Engine girl at heart), though almost always single player; and I occasionally watch anime. Some favorite games are Touhou Project, Crimzon Clover, Ranger-X, Grey Goo, Satisfactory, Quake 1 and 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Dawn of War: Soulstorm.

I don't work anymore due to mental health issues, and also fibromyalgia. In the past I worked as a system admin (mainly Linux), programmer, live sound engineer, and A/V technician.

I'm a 32yo #trans girl-thing diagnosed with #ADHD (and suspected autism), living in the US (unwillingly), and accidentally a #furry? Also a kink-haver, computer-toucher, girl-kisser, poly-curious, videogame-player, pun-enjoyer, music-listener, art-dabbler, and radical leftist of the "I think everyone should be able to live and be happy as their authentic selves and love the folks they want while housed and not have to worry too much" variety.
