How does one go about learning to speak Cantonese?
I can find Mandarin resources all over the place but Cantonese resources seem to be libraries of dictionaries. My knowledge of the language (0%) means these aren't accessible to me yet.

@outofprintarchive Now that I got thinking, I'm actually pretty bummed about #duolingo in general. What it has become is horrible, but even when it's gimmicky, the whole concept of small doses of language every day have contributed a lot to me learning 4th language in the past 5 or so years.
I'll probably have to look into the alternatives and see if there was one that could teach something bit more useful than the random stuff Duolingo pushed us.

Well, cancelled Duolingo finally. Most intermediate and advanced learners seemed to dislike it anyway. 576 day streak.
So, I reached a 1000 days streak on Duolingo just in time to read about their CEO willingness to replace workers with AI–generated bullshit.
Guess I might not want to reach 1001.
Any good or even average alternative, in particular for Spanish?
