Not gonna lie, I'm a loyal cradle #Anglican but I'm also a raging protestant in the model of Cranmer himself so I really struggle with the #Chrism thing. I accept oil-anointing as a Biblical activity but I find no basis for the idea that it must be done with specific, special oil. And yet, I am also persuaded that much (most?) of the Spirit's work is a mystery to us and that my more Catholic brothers and sisters have glimpsed things of God of which I know not.

I (and maybe @catrinity, who wrote about this recently) would say it might depend on the play, but yes, there's truth to it: seeing bad behavior normalizes it. Better show us good things to use as role models.

(Now here's an uncomfortable woke/fundamentalist similarity!)
