'Drinking with skeletons'

All shot practically using real figures, lighting and miniature sets. (The candle flame I added in digitally the rest is all real).

This sculpture seems to draw inspiration from classical depictions of Venus while infusing a modern sensitivity to detail and texture. The delicate balance between sensuality, innocence, and divinity evokes themes of rebirth, purity, and beauty.

This was a fast one. Last night I designed a small 2 layer #GPIO stacking header board for the #RaspberryPi that will be used in my #NeXTcube mini to provide a power and activity LED. It's in production at #JLCPCB already.

Been working on some dungeon tiles for use with “Five Leagues from the Borderlands” and “Fable on your Table 2e”. Tonight I got the first pass of painting done on them and they are finally looking kinda presentable.

They are very modular, consisting of floor tiles, doors, and wall / column blocks. Still need to add some finishing touches, but it’s playable as it is already!

Finally finished another set of 3 mm fantasy miniatures from Microworld Games. These six Doppelsöldner units hail from a nation that's usually a rival to, but occasionally an ally of, the more noble Swordsmen. Musketeers and Crossbowmen are next for their respective armies, but I'm slow at hobbying. #tabletop #miniatures #wargaming

This is the first time I have been happy with close-up photos of some minis I painted. Normally I think they just look bad in close-up but these look pretty cool (I think!).

I feel like I got the paint where I wanted it for the most part, I successfully experimented with shading, and got the colors brighter than I normally do, making them less muddied. Also had fun making them different colors - deep purple, firey red, and icy blue!
