This was the time I came across Bob Emiliani. He has lead real world-class, culture shattering #kaizen and #TPS. He's not afraid to hold up what real TPS is, and contrast it against the half-hearted #operationalexcellence we see too often in enterprises that talk-the-talk, but would never deign to walk-the-walk.

It was through his work that I saw what I had been missing - management behaviour. Captured in their customs, incentives, artifacts.
