Today has been a quiet day.
I just pulled these lovely naps from the oven, and I’m currently baking banana bread (since we had some left over, over-ripe Bannas and plenty of eggs.
Earlier on, I planted some of our spare tomatoes, replaced some watermelons that had given up, and moved the chicken run… I don’t know why I bother though because they always just fly over…
Oh, and if you’re in the greater #PDX area and would like a #plantswap (or rather, free tomato plants) HMU. I’m about 35 mins out of town….
Our Grow Local Plant Sale is coming up in May
We've got over 100 native trees on the way to hand out on Saturday March 16.
Trees are bare-root saplings, averaging about 18" in height.
We have hazelnuts, oaks, persimmons, plums and chokeberry, along with packets of heirloom pumpkin and corn seed.
Bring seeds and plants to trade if you have them!
Yay, the posters up.
Thanks to Fiona for creating an excellent poster for us.

Der Pflanzenmarkt beim Grätzelmixer im Sonnwendviertel war auch heuer wieder sehr nett – und hat meine grüne Fensterbank-Armada etwas dezimiert
Today on #EarthDay first we were at a plant swap in #Petershagen #Windheim. Later we planted cauliflower, broccoli and German turnip in our #veganorganic garden and of course those plants that came back with us from the swap.
If you're in Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire (near St. Neots basically), you might enjoy this seed/plant swap I have arranged: https://fb.me/e/EF3X5gOH
