The #Istria railway line from #Slovenia to #Pula currently sees passenger workings only. A couple of years back, also freight trains were running here, as seen on this photo taken in October 2011: a #HŽ Class 2062 diesel makes a stop at #Lupoglav, with a southbound freight.

#Pula was very nice, even though I spent a lot of time after the conference in my flat, being socially exhausted, under threat of a cold and deadlines.

The old centrum is pretty and quickly seen, the amphitheatre impressive and seashore lacking nice cafes. Next time: seeing more outside that area.

A place that nicely combines possibilities for tourism, drinks on a roof terrace and nice decor, was caffebar La Resistance. They have made the sunset their business, rightly so!

Interesting weekend in #Pula. #Visualia #lightArt festival, and a #marathon at the same time and partially same place.

There should also be a cheese festival somewhere around, I hear.
