VEML6046X00 from EYE ON NPI to a New Adafruit Breakout! 
We covered the VEML6046X00 on our show segment EYE ON NPI a few weeks ago, and now we've gotten our sample chips in—so it's time to make a breakout board for it! We particularly like that this is a high-lux sensor, with a max range of 180 kLux, which is comparable to the discontinued MAX44009.
One final update to my living room media unit… rgb! My wife says it’s tacky but I couldn’t resist the temptation! If you look closely you can see my Jonsbo N4 in the bottom corner.
Spent my Easter eating a delicious Danish Kringle with Ali and then made this doodle.
I am excited, its forbidden in a few ways. One of which is the tube sizes, which are fine tuned for brightness. That big bright white 25mm tube is thin lead glass- and it would take awhile to get it as hot as the 10 mm #blacklight tube, which will be made brighter by being the narrowest, most focused part of the arc.
On a bombarder, that would suck the narrow blacklight in. It is possibly the best combination to be bombarded in terms of glass heat sensitivity- buut I have an oven, so its baking out over night so I can make this the first try guaranteed :).
Hooray for Easter! After Minneapolis, I needed a day to sleep, and I still should send some emails, but I wanted to relax, and I feel recharged, -but there is about to be so much commercial bending.

Bought some new HUB75E panels and the colors are noticeably yellower (warmer) than any other panels I have.
Anyone know what's going on here?
