@HunterAnton When it comes to polo shirts, I get nearly all mine from the #RNLI. I like the material they use. Shoes M&S. I’m afraid I’ve been getting my shirts from AliExpress and my trousers from BigDude.
Just seen a comment on FB from a chap in #Essex whose dad is in the #RNLI - his dad has been told by the #security team *not* to wear uniform off duty for his own safety due to the level of backlash against RNLI helping #migrants (from people who have 0 idea of how #maritime operations work, and that the whole concept of that service is to retrieve humans (and sometimes other creatures) who have ended up in the sea / tidal waterway but didn't intend to be there)..

1. Well supported coffee morning supporting the #rnli
2. We ran out of cake, well good for us, not so good for the late arrivals
3. Had to spend most of the afternoon lazing on the sofa, well loading the dishwasher and handing out hot sausage rolls is hard work.
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Monday. After a nice weekend, the weather has gone cold and windy overnight. Never mind. Yesterday's trip out was fun. We visited Anstruther, Pittenweem and Elie on "MrsD's birthday journey of discovery" in Fife. We managed an ice cream on the beach too! MrsD enjoyed her birthday. More exploring today.
Whatever you are doing today, have fun and laughs. Take care.
Today's photo is from Anstruther, it looks like a brand new lifeboat for the #RNLI.

Ray Lonsdale's 'The Coxwain', a sculpture at Seaham Harbour, Co Durham. It commemorates the courage and dedication of past and present members of the town's lifeboat station, in particular, those who lost their lives aboard the 'George Elmy' lifeboat in 1962. The Seaham Lifeboat Disaster, as it is referred to, is an event I clearly remember from my youth.
