Eric 🇨🇦<p>Fretboard radius. There’s a topic. Put down some rhythm tracks on the new song last night and used the Tele with 9.5” radius. I found chords a bit unpredictable. Basically open chords with really aggressive fast playing. Then put down some picking triplets over the chords with the Tele and it was a breeze. Tonight I tried the Danelectro 59M with 14” radius for the speedy chords, and no problem. Interesting phenomenon. Curvature. Eric 🇨🇦<p>Good basement session tonight. The slow keyboard intro verse section is done and I’m onto the upbeat part of the new song. Put down some rough test guitar tracks to see how it’s gonna work. Got it sorted. Two guitar tracks; chord riffs one side and triplets on the other. May have a third guitar up the middle in the back. Put down a full run through rough vocal tonight too to check timing. Once the guitars are tracked, I’ll do the vocals. Then bass.
