for Desktop v7.50 release notes:

* If you link a new Desktop on Signal Android and choose to transfer your message history, now you can also selectively transfer old attachments from your primary device too. Bring the past into the present by scrolling back in time and clicking on the download icon. As always, the transfer process is end-to-end encrypted and secure.

Seen some FUD about #Signal since the Hegseth/Waltz thing.

Signal is still secure and still recommended by every security nerd you know.

The issues are that 1) public officials shouldn't be using commercial apps to discuss protected topics, 2) they shouldn't be doing so on personal phones, and, 3) they shouldn't be inviting journalists into their group chats while doing so (lol).

Don't let the dumbest people ever making an insane series of errors put you off the best secure messaging app.
