📦 Unboxing & 🖌️ Refurbishing

Tacking care of and test some SNES and Game Boy games. Also got a bunch of PS1/PS2 controllers that need to be refurbished.
Last I need to replace the analog sticks of my PS3 controller for better performance in Metroid Dread speedrunning.

I'm thinking of migrating away from Bitwarden and using KeepassXC. I just have to find a way to keep the Keepass database synchronized with my devices. Most likely with Nextcloud.

Bitwarden's recent UI changes are irksome and remind me why I can't stand JavaScript.

Today I'm celebrating a personal milestone: 3 MONTHS of #selfhosting thanks to the magic of #YunoHost.

I'm posting a quick message because I need to leave home in 5 minutes to pick up my little one from nursery school. But I didn't want to let this anniversary pass without my acknowledgement.

Thank you @yunohost team for changing my life in the best possible way and empowering me to self-host my own #Fediverse instances.

I hope I'll be able to give back one day and help you out on your amazing mission ❤️

After much waffling and mucking, I finally have a functional mail server.

Still a few more things to finish up, but it's coming along. Even with #RYOMS, it can be quite the process. I tried testing out some of the AIO solutions, but kept running into trouble with those as well. Between the book and the LinuxBabe tutorials, things have been working well, if a bit time consuming.

Anybody have good pointers on how to convert some standalone Docker hosts to a Docker swarm?

I have a bunch of different #docker hosts, each with its own IP. None of them are docker swarm. What I'd like to do is have 3 public IPs for 3 VMs that are running Caddy, in front of a bunch of different internal VMs that are all running Docker swarm containers. So I can load balance across VMs (I have 3 IPs, but 4 hosts that can run VMs/containers). I'm hoping to gradually migrate (can't really afford a big bang).

boosts welcome

@fabianseyfried Schau dir auch mal #FreedomBox an. Ich betreibe meine seit etlichen Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden:

Hey #homelab and #selfhosting gang, I need your advice. I have a Synology DS218play that is really showing its age. It's time to upgrade but I'm not sure what to get.

Storage-wise, I'm doing just fine. Only a couple TBs. I use this mainly for storing my personal photos, Synology Drive, etc.

I'm interested in the DS723+ but I read that it's pretty locked down to Synology hardware. Is there a decent FLOSS option that doesn't make NAS maintenance my hobby?
