neddyo
Tonight: I've now seen Shannon Lay 4 times and 3 of 'em have been in CA. Coincidentally, the first was opening for Mikal Cronin, which was the same this evening, although both solo this time. Cronin was good, but Lay was, as always, exceptional with a magic to her voice, penetrative songwriting, and a silly stage presence. She knocked me out this evening at Permanent Records. Then left the crowd with these words:

"I hope we can find peace in the church that is livemusic"

#livemusic #shannonlay
