Some people can’t help being chatty, though, and add textual notes which may or may not add to the mood.

This photo was from our walk this morning. The sun was just starting to chase away the fog.
We stood here by the marsh pond for a few minutes before we started home.
A moment to soak in some serenity before returning to the real world.
In my real world I have started reaching out to old friends who still live in these parts. Yesterday, I talked to someone who was a schoolmate from elementary through high school. She has enjoyed a long career as a teacher.
She was curious about where I find truthful news and why I protest at our advanced age. We had a great conversation and I agreed to bring her to the next protest. The assault on the Dept. Of Ed was her last straw.
I reached out to another friend today from my League of Women Voters days. Personally spreading the word is where I'm at these days. One at a time is my speed it seems.

Summer and I were on the way to our walk this morning we saw a whole passel of egrets in a green pasture.
I stopped and rolled the window down. They were sure that we had good intentions so they started flying away.
