Herr Irrtum!<p><span>Two things!<br><br>1st: New track </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/release" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#release</a><span>: "Goin' Mirlo".<br> - </span><a href="https://mirlo.space/die-nmi/release/various" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://mirlo.space/die-nmi/release/various</a><span><br><br>Why is that?<br><br>2nd: Because I moved most of my stuff away from </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/Soundcloud" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Soundcloud</a><span> today. This company is now feeding my work to unspecified AI companies, and no. I am sick of doing free creative commons for company suckers. I do music for humans. Not for AI. So good bye, soundcloud.<br><br>What remains there is an </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/antifa" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#antifa</a><span> track (can't be wrong to train AIs to be anti fascist), an old noisy track of mine from 1989, and this one. To cut deeply into their flesh or so :)<br><br>I can only recommend to do that to other musicians as well, as long as you don't want to have strange AI clones of your music around (but without your spirit) and other people making money out of it.<br><br>If you move away, try to stay away from shady dark patterns infested "upload your music" services.<br><br>Personally I've decided to move from Soundcloud to </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/Mirlo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mirlo</a> Space (hence the title) - here are those guys: <a href="https://musician.social/@mirlo" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@mirlo@musician.social</a><span> . I've watched them for almost a year trying to enable something different, something cooperative style for and together with musicians and not for some companies sake. Trust takes time, and I think I can trust the Mirlo gang now ;) .<br><br>You still have other options in case you wanna move away from Soundcloud – a complete other model would be i.E. self hosting your </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/music" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#music</a> with something as cool as <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/faircamp" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#faircamp</a><span> . Just don't stumble into the fangs of the next musicians spirits sucking company, doing this not for your benefit but for their shareholders. That won't go well. Never unfortunately. <br><br></span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/fedimusicians" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fedimusicians</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/mymusic" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mymusic</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/acid" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#acid</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/musicdistribution" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#musicdistribution</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/creativeCommons" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#creativeCommons</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/artificialintelligence" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#artificialintelligence</a></p>
