Paul A. J. Lewis<p><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/ThisNightIllWatch" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ThisNightIllWatch</span></a> your Blu-ray release from <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Criterion" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Criterion</span></a><br /> of <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/JimJarmusch" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JimJarmusch</span></a>'s DEAD MAN (1995). Vividly remember seeing this on its first release. <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/RobbyMuller" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>RobbyMuller</span></a>'s cinematography is a dream. </p><p>The Criterion disc includes a lovely gallery of production stills, + the readings of <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/WilliamBlake" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>WilliamBlake</span></a>'s poetry by Mili Avatal, Alfred Molina, + Iggy Popo accompanied by Jarmusch's evocative black-and-white production recce stills are superb. I adore this film, though GHOST DOG is still my fave Jarmusch</p>
