christophwarner
Just finished the REVENGE of the TIPPING POINT by Macolm Gladwell. It's really interesting in the context of our current political climate but also around things as facetious as Linux on the Desktop or Artificial intelligence. It's hard to observe and participate in some of these group-think related tipping points while also trying to be introspective without feeling as if you are part of the problem. Or worse, becoming apathetic or putting your hands over your ears and pretending everything is fine.

His end quote has rung a bell in me however, "The tools necessary to control an epidemic are sitting on the table, right in front of us. We can let the unscrupulous take them. Or we can pick them up ourselves, and use them to build a better world". Sometimes, those of us with the abilities or talent or voice just need someone to remind us it seems.

Tipping points are fabricated, engineered, built and that's OUR lane.

#tippingpoint #MalcomGladwell #goodread
