Our defenders are fighting like lions with extraordinary courage.

What has been happening in recent days? The enemy tried to block our strongholds with huge infantry forces. The use of equipment was reduced to nothing, both on our side and on the enemy’s. Everything that came closer than a kilometre to the contact line was destroyed.

While we have roughly parity with the enemy in terms of artillery and FPV, the Russians have a huge advantage in terms of infantry. But we drank a lot of their blood and continue to bleed them. Our units skilfully withdrew from the areas where there was a threat of encirclement, using the weather conditions. This does not mean that we have completely left the town, as the fighting in Velyka Novosilka continues. All actions are aimed at minimising our own losses and maximising the damage to the enemy.

Regarding the enemy’s prospects. The orcs will not be able to continue their offensive from Velyka Novosilka. A typical situation for Muscovites has arisen: ‘the main thing is to make a flagpole’. The price and prospects are not important. The river ‘Mokri Yaly’, which created problems for the supply of our units, has now become an obstacle to the advance of the enemy. After entering Velyka Novosilka, the enemy got into a fireball, where he will not have any peace, any movement is stopped by shells and drones.

Original: https://t.me/ombr_110/428 (in Ukrainian)

The reason why I’m reposting it in English is that there’s been overwhelming amount of #Russia disinformation activity about “encirclement” which had been happily picked up by many Ukrainian and foreign media simply because they were so sensational.

Today Russian bots started spamming Ukrainian channels with a video where men presented as “Ukrainian soldiers who are encircled for weeks with no help” are calling for help in perfectly clean and new uniforms. 110. Brigade has officially debunked this video, too.
