Some of our friends are reporting to us that version 8.61.0 of the #Instacart app is crashing as soon as, or not long after people try to load it with or without #VoiceOver in the mix. If you can reproduce this issue please join us in bringing it to the attention of #Instacart via their handle on Twitter or via email or customer support via phone. Here's hoping this gets addressed swiftly.

For any fellow #Blind #Duolingo users who haven't yet left due to their awful #Accessibility, if you've been running into the #VoiceOver sluggishness when doing lessons, try tapping the volume buttons when it happens. Something about this interaction stops the slow interface issue for a few seconds and brings interaction speed back to normal, then just press the volume buttons again when it inevitably goes back to being slow. Such awful UX/UI design...

@Pschiller dans les futures versions de ses OS, nous espérons qu'enfin Apple corrigera les innombrables bugs d'accessibilité qui sont introduits au fil des mises à jour intermédiaires de ces systèmes, jamais corrigé ou alors après de très longs mois, trimestres, semestres ou années pour certains. C'est très bien de parler d'accessibilité lors des Keynote, mais c'est mieux de mettre les actes en rapport des mots. #A11Y #VoiceOver #DisabilityWashing #Apple

Of course I do a "mc o's" for the blind" stream the day after st. patrick's. All that's missing is a pint of GUinness and something green.

If you find a blog overview page with the following document outline, do you believe the skipped h2 poses a problem for screen reader users? (Imagine the headings are all descriptive) h1 blog h3 title of first article h3 title of second article ... It's not ideal, but it's not a WCAG violation. Are the consequences for the user bad or is it okay to be pragmatic here and give it a pass? edit: it's not a site I'm building but one I'm auditing.
