Omni :steamdeck2:<p>I just read about the Eleventh Hour (Last Epoch devs) acquisition by Krafton.</p><p> :goose_yes: The good: Resources for console ports, bigger marketing, faster development</p><p> :gooseknife: The bad: Krafton is currently in a $250M lawsuit with Subnautica 2 devs for allegedly sabotaging their studio to avoid payments 😬</p><p> 🤖 The ugly: 60% of Last Epoch players are already concerned about: ❌ Aggressive monetization ❌ Loss of indie identity ❌ Reduced community focus</p><p>So, what should we watch for?</p><p>- Season 3 launch (Aug 21) - first content under new ownership</p><p>- Team departures</p><p>- Monetization changes</p><p>- Development quality shifts</p><p>Bottom line: Could be great for growth OR another indie studio casualty.
