This was when I switched to a screen tablet for art for the first time. Progress for an Aasimar character painting, a couple of artworks that I wasn't happy with and thus don't show, and some good news after the stress of my tablet breaking.

I had used metallic gold paint at first which looked good, then applied gold leaf to make the emergency blanket she is wearing, but it was hard to apply well and it didn’t seem to stick well enough, so didn’t look good, and I painted over in non metallic ochre oil paint. I might try to add metallic gold oil paint later.
I did a full under painting in acrylic.

The undersketch half went so well. And then I lost all momentum and optimism trying to paint it like a cheesy Bollywoody watercolor poster and gave up immediately :D
At least I "finished" it and am posting it publicly. That counts!
