André<p>Sad news for the <a href="https://glitch.dumbly.net/tags/eurovision" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>eurovision</span></a> :eurovision_heart_2025: Grand Final:</p><p>My local broadcaster reached out again and told me that the bad audio mix is (at least partly) due to EBU rules. Specifically, the LFE channel isn't allowed to be used in competing songs.</p><p>This must be a new rule, since my <a href="https://glitch.dumbly.net/tags/ESC2024" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ESC2024</span></a> :eurovision_heart_2024: recording has full 5.1 audio, even during the acts.
