While I'm a fan of the messy lines that Bic ballpoints create, every so often I like to pull out my 0.2mm Rotring Isographs. Their immaculate ink flow and line consistency is incredible, and they excel at geometric abstractions like these.

Plotted with an #AxiDraw SE/A3 on 9"x12" Bristol paper using custom-mixed DeAtramentis Document inks.

An image comprised of two lines that fold back on themselves to fill space in rectangular blocks, with one line in a shade of blue-green, and the other in a shade of dark magenta. Where the line regions overlap, a purple-ish color is formed.

A single line in a blue-green color that folds on itself to form rectangular regions, which themselves aggregate to form an abstract shape that spreads down from the top of the page to the bottom.

some friends got me a #penplotter to self-assemble a couple of years ago (the #4xidraw, after the famous #axidraw). it had some issues and never worked really well, but now my friend @viernullvier is alone in my flat and fixes it, and talks extensively about the modifications and improvements :)
