For a moment.

I immediately frogged the scection with the popping beads. If you pushed one down, another popped up. Really rough on the hand, as the end of the bead would scrape against your fingers.

Need the tiniest amount of extra space to get them to lie flat.

One side is finished! Getting so close I can taste it! I did the fat side first so I'd get the skinnier side will feel lightning fast by comparison.

I was very worried I'd not have enough of the bugle beads to finish (a problem with Joanne's closing!) but I should have enough to finish.

I'll probably need to frog one section on a curve where the beads are popping. You push one down and another one pops up. It is very temping to snug them up but they need more room than you think! Tiny adjustments to boot, a millimeter here or there, just enough for a bit of movement.

It's coming along! I've got the trickys bits done. Now I'm on to coverage with the bugle beads, which is quick.

I have about 3 weeks to make the dress.

Working on some new designs today <33

Two new ones. The one on the left i'm very proud of, it's for a friend. The one on the right i'm tempted to keep but probably won't end up wearing...

I've finished my my leaves on the second piece! Still doing the second outline layer, and filling in the open areas.

The bugle beads will be super fast.

Starting to feel the pressure as I have a month to go and haven't really started the dress. I fit a muslin so I could fit these as pattern pieces, but it feels a million years ago.

Still debating on the belt. If If want to bead it or buy trim. Finding the right vintage belt buckle has been quite the adventure - most the ones I've found are either very expensive or silver rather than gold.
