Monkey Palace is a LEGO game with a solid, fun, competitive game behind it. Highly recommended for families. Fun for kids and fun for adults too. LEGO fans will love this one!

The Geeky Goodies family at our booth at Breakout Toronto this past weekend. It was such a fantastic time. We love meeting all the wonderful, happy people coming up to say hello. A truly great event put together by committed, brilliant people for 3 days of laughter, fun and gaming!

Power Plants is so freakin good! Place a tile and you have a choice to make: you can activate the powerful ability of that tile or you can activate all the lesser abilities of every tile your new tile is touching. 

Your brain will explode a little bit when you start considering all the exciting options you have on your turn, but in the best possible way.

I gotta get Jamaica back to the table! It's such a pretty and fun game. And it's been too long!

Really enjoy Power Plants. This is a quick to learn and very think-y area majority game! Place a tile and you activate the powerful ability of that plant type OR you can activate all the lesser abilities of every tile your new tile touches. Makes for a lot of really interesting decisions. Truly excellent game with lots of drama in those tough decisions.

The Castles of Burgundy Special Edition. All the usual beauty and elegance of game play but with a fresh new look and components that now match the game's elegance and style.

HUE by @perplextgames is SO good! Played it for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! Every one of the teeny tiny Pack O Games that I have plaited is so great! I really should just track down a full set cuz I love them all so much!

HUE has players creating big groups of colours with overlapping cards in order to score points for the 3 secret colors they chose. Super fast. Extremely clever. Great fun!

The DC Comics Deck-Building Game with one of the Crisis expansions is still my favourite cooperative game to play. Always provides an exciting story, a few big splashy rounds where someone has an incredible turn with lots of chaining and combining of cards and lots of uncertainty and tension.

5-Minute Mystery is absolutely brilliant! I love 5-Minute Dungeon and really enjoyed 5-Minute Marvel but this is the best one on the series. Loved it!

Carcassonne Star Wars. Lots of conflict in this version of the modern classic game.

My board game plays for the month of August! I'm a lucky, lucky guy!

Smartphone Inc. is such a great game! Love the layering mechanism that players use each round to choose the actions they're going to take.

I LOVED Cosmoctopus! Obviously it has amazing components (Look at those tentacles!) but the game is so much more! Really fun engine building game with a very clever action selection mechanism that provides some player interaction and makes your decisions in the game important to you and your opponents. Great art and graphic design to with high quality components.
