Far be it from me to defend #bluesky but in this particular instance, it looks like the #media wants to protect companies from disaffected users.

I don't think any reasonable moderation would do that. I think what #bs has is an anti corporate #culture.

That's inconvenient for #business but it's not #harrassment of any kind in my #opinion.

Regarding #Trump's recent physical...

1. Trump lies. Constantly. About everything. It's his default state of being, and is as natural as breathing to him.

2. Trump has a massive ego and also a massive inferiority complex. He needs constant fluffing and reinforcement. He has to be told he is better, handsomer, smarter, everything-er than everybody else.

Put those together, and you get:

3. The things Trump lies about more than anything else are ... himself. He cheats at golf to win tournaments at clubs he owns, so he can be "champion". He brags about first-placing in contests or comparisons that didn't happen or which don't rank participants at all. And on and on...

What's this got to do with his physical?

Well, he announced his results and it says he's 6'3" and weighs 224 pounds.

Which, if true, would mean he's 5 or 6 inches taller than me, but weighs the same. Anyone familiar with how scaling a 3D object up by linear factor X affects mass is now laughing their guts out.

He is *far* more obese than me. Of *course* he's lying about his weight. If he's less than 270 pounds I will eat my hat, and it would not surprise me in the least if he weighed 300 pounds.

So, do you want your government run by a pathetically insecure man-baby who has to lie about his weight to feel better than everyone else?

Shame on his doctor putting his signature to such bullshit.

Rule of thumb: if a company operating in a highly technical scientific space chooses to release its progress reports or results in an "exclusive" with a mainstream media outlet, rather than via a scientific journal, it's not a scientific company. It's a financial grift.

$omehow, in the #8bitwar the #C64 was much more popular even when specs been almost the same. The difference in #BASIC language was less significant for the success. Most likely that competition was won by #Commodore because Jack Tramiel took the advice of his grandfather so serious.

Yeah, truly, there is a modern #Greek saying, "a pus*y can tug a ship", so why not a thousand ships? A few bones found 75 years ago give us certainty about her face, and in spite of already having arthritis and dying in her 30s, she looked just like the girl in the picture 🙄

According to economist Richard D Wolff the notion of "Liberation Day" is white supremacist BS.
The US is to this day a colonial superpower. The notion that the US is "liberating itself" from China, Vietnam and other countries they are imposing tariffs on is total BS. Trump is manipulating his base into believing that the US a victim of unfair trading.
And that's just a small portion of what's wrong with Trump's tariffs.
